About Liz Davila

I am Liz Davila, a Marriage and Family Therapist-Associate practicing in Texas, supervised by Dr. Haselmayer-Fayed, PhD, LMFT-S

Originally from Monterrey, Mexico I have always been interested in offering culturally sensitive services to diverse communities, and I strive to emphasize and include the culture, religion, experiences, and abilities of each one of my clients. I have extensive experience working with children, teens and whole families from a post-modern strengths-based framework. My approaches of choice are Narrative Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

The process of starting therapy can be confusing and it's generally not an easy task. Therefore, I do my best to make my clients feel comfortable to tell their stories and to make sure they know I am here as a resource, if that's what they need.

During the process of therapy, we can work together to create a safe space where all kinds of conversations can take place in an environment that invites new possibilities.

I hope you decide to give therapy a chance and I sincerely look forward to meeting you very soon.
